What a fantastic movie the Passing Show was. What a guy Ronnie was and what great friends he had.
My daughter who is really into her music thinks that "Done this one before" is one of the best songs she has heard.
I love all of the songs and wish that I could have known more about him while he was alive.
I think Ronnie is a beacon to freethinking free spirits everywhere. The story of the Passing Show on Tour is incredible, heart warming and worthy of a film on it's own.
In an age where even the most banal mediocrity is celebrated-how sad that Ronnie left us without the critical acclaim that he surely deserved.
A kind of musical Van Gough.
Thanks to Ronnies friends and fans, old and new who are keeping his music alive.

Hi,
Bought myself a Ronnie Lane compilation CD called 'How Come' two weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised by the music. Last week I bought 'Slim Chance' which more or less collects two albums on one disc and it's just getting better. I remember getting the news of Ronnie's death in 1997. It was a sad day. I'm glad his music is still available. Love the site. |

I have just watched the passingshow DVD for the 8th time in 8 days and I just had to say our great Ronnie was (and still is). I love music and this is the best(most enjoyable I have ever seen). I remember seeing the small faces(before they were famous} practacing in my local pub the Ruskin Arms in East Ham with I think Jimmy Winstone. A wonderful DVD. thank you. |

What I want to know is:
who's making the money from Itchycoo Park in the M&S advert? I'd like to think it's you Ronnie up there with your bank account in the sky, or your family anyway. |
