I was impressed when I listened Slim Chance: what beautiful songs, what romantic & smooth style! Este es mi pequeño homenaje a un buen hombre. This is my small tribute to a good man and a excellent artist!

Hi fellow fans of Ronnie,
I saw the great man with The Faces in Birmingham in 74. Unfortunately, it was a sombre occasion, following the pub bombings, but the band still put on a great show. I followed Ronnie's career after he split and formed his own bands, then on to his solo stuff. The man was a creative genius and when I listen to his work now, from Small Faces onward, you realise how brilliant he was! Songs like Debris, Annie, Don't Try And Change My Mind, Tell Everyone and Bye And Bye - pure genius! Consider the greats he worked with too, like Marriott, Stewart, Wood, Clapton, Townshend, etc., etc. I just got the dvd of The Passing Show, watched it first time with a lump in my throat! I agree with other comments about no input from Rod on the dvd, strange, as I thought they were great mates?

I knew Ronnie in his later years in Austin. He had the brilliant wisdom to marry my dear friend, Susan. My fond memories are of answering the phone and hearing Ronnie on the other end saying, "Well, hello love!" That British accent was music to my Texan ears and I knew that Ronnie's eye's were smiling as he said hello. Susan recently sent me the DVD of The Passing Show. It was wonderful to see Ronnie's early life and hear some music I'd not heard before. How great it was to see Ronnie's smile again. This DVD is a must buy for anyone who was ever touched by Ronnie's life and/or music. My Susan loves him still and I think we all share that feeling.
