I watched this documentry last night about Ronnie .. kinda knew The Faces ..

He was so cute back then ^_^

Really upset me to see such a lovely man die slowly in suffering.

Such a brave, great bloke.

RIP RONNIE <3333

I too watched the BBC2 show and it took me back to my teenage days at school and listening to great music of the time. I fondly remebered Ronnie and Slim Chance with How Come. What a guy!

What a wonderful programme the passing show was. Ronnie is sorely missed by a lot of people, and surely deserves a lot more recognition. Song of a Baker, The Poacher, Ooh-La-La, some of the finest pieces ever crafted (IMHO)

Watched the program last night..not knowing anything about Ronnie........
What a Pioneer for the Big Rock Shows of today..I have progressive MS and didn't know what was coming in the program because I knew nothing of Ronnie Lane..but now I can relate to the Guy and will listen to his music.

I too watched the film last night on BBC2 and thought it was really moving and for me not knowing too much about the great man gave me a good incite into his life and work of which, some I' d heard and some I hadn' t.

He came across as a unique, non-selfish man who didn' t have to go with cliched rock n roll lifestyle to make himself feel good. A real legend.

Yes! I was also impressed by yesterdays documentary. I always liked Rough Mix with Pete Townshend. And ofcourse Debris from the Faces album 'A nod is'etc. I must have more Lane's music now! Keep up the good work with the site!
